Digital Product Passports · EU-ready

The standard of proof for the things you make.

asserro gives every product a tamper-proof identity — proven, stored, and yours to control. Starting with the one Europe is mandating first: the battery passport.

01The platform

Three passports. Two vaults. Self-custody, maximum verifiability.

The passports run on one verification engine — proving a product is genuine across its whole life, from the workshop through every owner to the very end. The vaults are a separate layer: self-custody storage and access control, so the proof, keys and credentials stay yours to keep, recover and grant — held by you, never by us.

The EU Battery Passport — compliant, sustainable, safe.
Every cell gets a verifiable passport: carbon footprint, origin, materials, recyclability and state-of-health — anchored, not asserted, built and validated with localised AI to cut the cost of compliance. For the 18 February 2027 mandate.

Two things sit beside the passports: the consoles where you actually run them — enrol, verify, export — and the vaults that store and control the proof, keys and credentials.

02The lifecycle

One identity, from cradle to cradle.

Created once and carried for life. Every stage adds a tamper-evident record; the final stages adapt to the product, and the loop closes when what remains returns to the beginning.

01
Enrol
Mint the identity, issue the passport.
The product is registered once. asserro mints its tamper-proof identity, generates the GS1 Digital Link QR, and anchors the genesis hash on-chain — the start of the record. AI builds and validates the data.
02
Verify
Authenticate with a scan.
A phone scan resolves the passport and recomputes the on-chain hash — proving the item is genuine and unaltered, without trusting asserro. Consumers, customs and recyclers each see their tier of data.
03
Track
Supply-chain handoffs.
Each handoff along the supply chain (geo + time) is recorded as a tamper-evident event, building a verifiable chain-of-custody from factory to shelf.
04
Install
Fit, integrate — or sell.
either / or
Product-dependent. A battery is fitted into a vehicle or integrated into a storage system; a consumer product is sold to its first owner. The passport records the transition either way.
05
Relocate
Transfer — or resell.
either / or
Either-or. The item is relocated within an operator, or its ownership transfers to a new owner on resale — and the provenance travels with it, across any marketplace.
06
Retire
Remove, dispose — or recycle.
either / or
End of life. The item is removed, disposed, or recovered for recycling — with recyclers reading the dismantling and materials data. Recovered materials feed back into Enrol, closing the loop.
↺  recovered materials return to Enrol — the loop closes
03Why now

No longer optional.

Europe has made the product passport law, and the battery passport is the first hard deadline. The houses that move early own the standard — and turn a compliance cost into a mark of distinction. Beyond the EU, India, New Jersey and others are moving the same way.

The name

From the Latin asservō — to guard, to keep safe, to preserve. Each product joins a domain to that root.

The house

asserro began in 2021 as a single idea — protect what is genuine. As Europe turned that idea into law, it became a family: one verification engine, three products, and the vaults that hold them.

asserro is the marque for verifiable trust — one verification engine, three passports, and the vaults that keep them.

05White-label

Or make it your own.

Run asserro under your own brand — as a product you sell to your customers on a revenue share, or as your group's own internal system. Same verification engine; your name on it.

Tier 1 — partner

White-label

Your brand, your customers, revenue share.
Offer the passport platform to your own customers under your brand and domain. You sell it and own the relationship; we run the engine, the chain and the AI underneath — and share the revenue on what you originate.

Tier 2 — in-house

Corporate & internal

A self-branded system you run as your own.
Implement asserro as your group's own internal passport and anti-counterfeit platform — self-branded, private, integrated into your stack. No asserro marks; it's your system.
